A Solstice Dance
The green hills turn red and golden
Then the Bay becomes a field of ice
Seasons turn and keep unfolding
The light of day becomes the dark of night
We are children of this Earth
We are creatures of the Sky
Spinning through the Universe
This is not imaginary flight
Through the moonlight
The Milky Way
Among shooting stars
Dancing with the northern lights
Light the torches
Light the bonfires
Let the flames leap high
Let the fires blaze
Call the sunrise
Call the daybreak
Call the sunlight
Call the light
Ours is a small fragile Earth
A speck in the galaxy
The mystery of the dark and the light
Is more than we can see
Dance while the fires burn
Sing through the Solstice night
Until the morning brings another birth
And solstice dreams melt into the light
Best wishes,
